MARGIN CALL
Authentic helped finance the acquisition of UK rights, and subsequent releases across cinema, DVD, and various other media.
Margin Call was released in 2011 with an all-star cast and received critical acclaim. It received an Oscar nomination for best screenplay, and won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay. Margin Call stars Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, Jeremy Irons, and Paul Bettany.
Taking place over a twenty four hour period, Margin Call follows the story of the most respected investment bank in the world as it decidedes to dump its entire mortgage-backed securities portfolio in one trading day, thereby starting the downward spiral that will be felt around the world.
OUR RECENT FILM PROJECTS
HYDE PARK ON HUDSON
Authentic was instrumental in helping to raise a significant proportion of financing for the project.
Set in 1930s Hudson Valley, Hyde Park and Hudson tells the story of Margaret "Daisy" Suckley as she is reacquainted with her distant cousin, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to help him relax at his family estate. That aid soon develops into much more as they become lovers.
Starring Bill Murray and Laura Linney, Hyde Park on Hudson was directed by Roger Michell and written by Richard Nelson.
